Launch AK provides school districts, pediatricians, and support service agencies professional development opportunities in the following areas on a video platform:

• Building Executive Skills (i.e. organization, time management, focusing on homework, flexible thinking, and impulse control in the classroom, and communication)
• Transitioning From Teenager to Young Adult
• What Colleges Are Looking For From Today's Students
• Learning Differences of Boys and Girls
• How to Reconnect with Kids After a Pandemic
• What Do Teens Want From Their Teachers
• Teaching Kids and Content: How High Schools and Colleges Can Balance Both

Parents and guardians will explore a variety of topics which assist in raising adolescents , teens and young adults.  The following workshop topics are:

• From Parent to Partner in Your Young Adults Life
• Building Communication Skills with Your Teen/Young Adult
• Igniting Your Young Adult at the Launch Pad!
• Finding the Right College For Your Son or Daughter
• Your "I Will" is More Important Than Your I.Q.

Students, educators, and families can explore careers directly from professionals in a variety of career fields through a LIVE video presentation.   Career fields include health sciences, business, fine arts, engineering, law enforcement, military, culinary, and the humanities.  

Students and families can learn about different colleges and universities, the college application process,  interview tips, college choice considerations, and scholarship resources.
